Season 7 will premiere on April 1, 2008 and will consist of 13 one hour episodes. This will be the final season according to its creator and the network.
The Shield creator, Shawn Ryan, has stated that due to his affiliation with the Writers Guild of America strike, he does not intend to be present on the set of the final episode of the series. He also does not plan to participate in editing the final episod
i hope this is just some of that strike bullshit and this isnt really gonna be the final season. this is the only show that i have watched every episode of and enjoyed every season.
